Having diabetes can feel like your health is constantly in danger.

Eat the wrong thing… you could end up being sick.

Wear the wrong shoes… you could have life-long feet issues.

Forget to take your medicine… you could end up in the hospital.

But it doesn’t always have to be this way.

Because new research shows that making a simple drink swap can help you stay safe.

In fact, it can even SLASH your risk of dying from diabetes by 20 percent!

It’s no secret that soda is bad for you.

This sugary drink is linked to heart problems, blood sugar issues, and even cancer.

And now we know it also increases your risk of dying from diabetes, too.

In the new study, Harvard University researchers analyzed drinking habits and mortality rates of more than 15,000 type 2 diabetics for 18 years.

At the end, they found that folks who consumed more than one sugar-sweetened drink – like soda – were 20 percent more likely to die from diabetes complications.

Even worse? This same group had a 25 percent higher risk of heart disease and a 29 percent higher risk of heart disease-related death.

This means drinking just one soda daily can put you on the fast track to an early grave!

But there’s good news…

After closer analysis, the researchers found that people who drank up to six drinks daily of coffee, tea, or water had a 26 percent, 21 percent, and 23 percent lower risk of death.

Swapping out those sugary drinks for coffee, tea, or water can help you LIVE LONGER.

How easy is that?! Ditch the soda for a piping hot cup of joe… or a tall refreshing glass of iced tea or water… and extend your life!

Now, I know that quitting soda isn’t easy.

It’s okay to start slow.

If you’re drinking more than one soda daily, replace one drink every day until you’re down to zero.

If you’re having just one a day, cut the serving by a quarter daily until you’ve replaced it with coffee tea, or water.
