We all get blue from time to time.
But when you have depression and anxiety, it can feel like you’re under a fog that will never lift.
The mainstream won’t help you.
They’ll just put you on dangerous drugs that can make your symptoms worse… turn you into a zombie… and even cause issues in the bedroom.
And the real problem? You still might have anxiety and depression.
Luckily, there’s another way.
New research shows that eating a certain type of food can send your risk of experiencing these conditions through the ROOF.
It’s no secret that fried foods can wreck your health.
They are linked to heart attack, stroke, and diabetes.
Now, there’s another reason to avoid them: your mental health.
For the new study, researchers analyzed the dietary habits and mental health outcomes of more than 140,728 people, looking for a link between fried foods and anxiety and depression.
And boy, did they find one!
At the end, the results showed that folks eating more than one serving of fried foods daily increased their risk of anxiety by 12 percent and their risk of depression by 7 percent!
YIKES!
This means that indulging in a handful of chips in the afternoon and a side of onion rings at dinner is actually wrecking your mood!
Experts report that fried foods impact your mental health because they contain a chemical – called acrylamide – that causes a specific type of inflammation linked to anxiety and depression.
But this doesn’t mean you have to swear off fried chicken and donuts forever.
Instead, you can try baked or air-fried versions of the same foods. They taste just as good without all the risk.
Or, if you need the real thing, make these foods a once-a-week treat instead of a daily staple.
