For the study, scientists at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health analyzed the diets and dementia outcomes of more than 90,000 Americans over thirty years.
At the end, they found that folks who consumed more than half a teaspoon of olive oil daily were 28 percent less like to die from dementia!
This is incredible news for anyone who wants to live longer AND eat well!
Researchers report that olive oil works because it contains nutrients that can cross the blood-brain barrier and directly impact your brain health.
As I said before, olive oil has been part of a healthy diet since the time of Alexander the Great.
Luckily, it’s still a household staple in the modern era.
You can get olive oil at your local supermarket.
And don’t worry about getting the fancy stuff. Just make sure you get the extra virgin variety for maximum health benefits!
